Throughout Ricky Weina’s four years as a Wildcat, he has not only been a scout team standout, but also provided depth as a reserve cornerback on defense and in multiple capacities on special teams. Ricky earned a scholarship in 2010 after starting for an injured Sherrick McMoanis against Penn State in 2009 and blocking a punt against Indiana to spark a 25 point comeback.
Ricky brings tremendous attitude to practice every day, helping the team get better in several phases each practice. He works as hard as anyone else on the team, and embodies the meaning of a true team player. Ricky has also volunteered with organizations such as the Children’s Memorial Hospital, Candy Days, Read Across America Days, and the St. Baldricks Foundation.
